Sharni Vinson is an Australian-American performer, actress and dancer born on the 22nd of July, 1983, in Sydney Australia. In 201, she made her acting debut in the Australian soap-opera called Home and Away. She played a small role in only two episodes. The casting agent wanted to have her play one of the main parts. Although she did try out for the role, it wasn't chosen. The role was instead set in the show in the role of Cassie Turner. She is a young disturbed girl in foster care. Both critics and fans alike have praised her performance.
