Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American actor, singer, and songwriter. People are familiar with her because of her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular show on television "The Goldbergs.' Her definition of herself is an artist first and foremost. According to her, is first thing she enjoys. She began playing with it when she was nine years old. After she turned 12 years old, the art of music was taken seriously enough to warrant formal training. After some experimentation with writing songs, she recorded the album with covers at the age of fourteen. From then on she's never ever looked back. Orrantia was born in America but with Hispanic roots. Though she's never was a Spanish speaker in Mexico She is extremely proud of her Hispanic roots. Her aim is to preserve the culture by writing Spanish songs and studying the Spanish language. A song she has created is called "Hasta Verte," a song she recorded in Spanish. Orrantia was selected to audition for the X Factor's inaugural season in the summer of 2011. Orrantia won the first season of The X Factor following the submission of an YouTube audition video. She was awarded an impressive four "yes" votes from the judge during the live stage show in Seattle. While she auditioned initially on her own at "Hollywood Week", she and three female performers were placed into an ensemble for the remainder of the auditions. The group was removed from the show in the fifth live week.
