Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American writer, performer and actress most famous for her role as Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she began her acting career on stage with Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. In the 1950s, she acted as a stage artist in a few Broadway productions before gaining into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner's performance in the year 1957. Within the same calendar year she released her first music album called The album is Tina Time. Louise began her journey into Hollywood playing Griselda Walden in God's little Acre a drama film released 1958.The movie received wide acclaim as well as Louise was awarded her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's student. Her next role that she played in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her with in 1964. Louise continued to have a successful professional career that combines Broadway TV with Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious in contrast to the glamorous image that she received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She has also appeared in SG-1 as well as Helen Magnus, but in the past few years has gained recognition for herself as a director of popular TV shows like Supernatural. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28, 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto when she was just three which is where she spent the rest of her childhood and adolescence. In 1997 after being selected to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there ever since.
